Tend the Soul

Accepting, on faith,And gut feeling,

In all things having a soul,

A spirit,

A spark of effervescent effluvium,

They, too, must be tended, as the garden –

Weeded free of worry and

Tireless hostilities against the self,

Pampered and pressed into resting

Upon hammocks made of

Sunshine and blessed spring zephyrs,

Fertilized with fat, juicy words

Plucked fresh from passionate minds,

And gently watered with warm hope, soft pats
